The rugged, extreme winter conditions of the Arctic are the inspiration for the latest Jeep vehicles -- the new 2012 Jeep® Wrangler and Liberty Arctic Editions. Both vehicles feature exclusive styling cues inside and outside that highlight the adventurous soul and the legendary 4x4 capability of the iconic Jeep brand.

Introduced at the 2011 Frankfurt Auto Show, these new special editions also add more fuel to the Jeep brand's red-hot growth in markets across the globe.

The Arctic Editions are perfect for anyone into the Winter X games, snowboarding, skiing or other winter activities, with both vehicles offering well-rounded packages of features that Jeep customers prefer.

This is One Cool-Looking Wrangler

Based on the Jeep® Wrangler Sahara model, the Arctic Edition's winter theme is immediately recognizable. Available colors are Winter Chill, Bright Silver and Bright White. Exterior features include a body-color hardtop and fender flares, "Arctic" badges on the front fenders, a "Yeti Footprint" decal over part of the driver's-side front fender flare and hood, and Mopar® black fuel-filler door.

                                          

Jeep Wrangler Arctic also offers an aggressive Wrangler Rubicon tire and wheel package, with unique semi-gloss black 17-inch wheels.

Inside, Jeep Wrangler Arctic's seats are black Tectonic fabric with Polar White accents and Orange stitching. Front seats are heated and feature an "Arctic" logo on the front seatbacks. Accent stitching can also be found on the steering wheel, armrests and console lid. Door trim and cargo nets are accented in Arctic Orange, and all grab handles and dashboard vent rings are finished in Polar White trim.

The Liberty Arctic is based on the Liberty Sport and is also available in Winter Chill, Bright White, Bright Silver, as well as a Mineral Gray exterior color. Exterior styling cues include a black hood decal, 16-inch aluminum wheels painted semi-gloss black, blacked-out headlamp and "Arctic" badges on the front fenders. Also included are P235/70R16 OWL all-terrain tires, deep-tinted glass, fog lamps and tow hooks.

Liberty Arctic's dark slate gray seats are covered in Tectonic fabric with Polar White accents and feature an "Arctic" logo in the seatback. Power, heated driver and passenger seats are accented in unique Arctic Orange accent stitching. Other standard interior features include the Media Center 430 with a 6.5-inch touch-screen radio, a premium 9-speaker Infinity audio system and Mopar® tread pattern slush mats with white Jeep® lettering.
