The pickup's base powerplant is a Pentastar® 3.6-liter V6 engine that produces 305 horsepower and 271 lb-ft of torque. Trucks with this engine can hit 60 miles per hour in less than seven seconds.
An even mightier Hurricane® twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter straight-six engine is also available, and it delivers 420 horsepower and 469 lb-ft of torque. As is the case with the base engine, this powerplant pairs with either rear- or four-wheel drive. Pickups with this engine can reach highway speeds in under five seconds and tow as much as 11,580 lbs with the right equipment. The truck's maximum payload capacity is 2,300 lbs.

When you take a seat inside the RAM 1500 Express, you'll notice intriguing technology features that will make you smile.
