Last month, we tackled one of the most common car-buying conundrums: which of two similar models is better? This month, it’s time for another showdown – this time, between the 2019 Jeep® Grand Cherokee and the 2019 Ford Explorer. While of course everyone’s needs vary, we’re here to help you decide which of these midsize SUVs is better for you and your family.

While most people probably associate the Jeep® brand with legendary SUVs like the Jeep Wrangler or Jeep Cherokee, here at Hall Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM Virginia Beach, we know there’s more to the company than that. That’s why today we wanted to highlight the all-new 2020 Jeep Gladiator – a truck that combines the best features of Jeep SUVs with the ability and toughness drivers want from pickup trucks.

Automotive research firm J.D. Power takes their Initial Quality Study pretty seriously. They use responses from more than 76,000 new vehicle owners and leasers to determine which models and brands have the best quality in the first 90 days of ownership. Owners answer 233 questions and report on problems experienced during this period. The fewer reported problems per 100 vehicles, the higher the ranking for the model or brand. This year, two Dodge models placed high or at the top of their segment, and the brand made an impressive jump in the overall rankings.

Every year, they hold their annual Outdoor Activity of the Year competition, more commonly known as “Mudfest,” to assess the best of the best when it comes to outdoor vehicles. And this year, our Jeep® dealers in VA were thrilled to hear that one of our very own dominated: the 2020…

The editors at Autotrader have put in a lot of miles. They agreed unanimously on each vehicle they selected for the list of Best New Cars of the year. So we’re thrilled to announce that they’ve chosen the 2019 RAM 1500 for a Best New Cars for 2019 award!

Last month, we suggested some spring cleaning and maintenance tasks for your new and used cars. Virginia Beach drivers who were too busy to take those jobs on last month, or who still have some work left to do on their vehicle, have the perfect opportunity now. April is National Car Care Month, and it’s a good reminder to drivers to take care of their cars, trucks, and SUVs.

It’s no secret that the 2019 RAM 1500 is an incredible truck. Just last month we talked about it earning the title of Best Pickup Truck of the Year from Cars.com, and today we’ve got another honor to talk about. The Rocky Mountain Automotive Press (RMAP) announced late last month that the 2019 RAM 1500 was their pick for Truck of the Year.
