RAM Will Continue to Sell RAM 1500 Classic in 2019

RAM recently announced that the original RAM 1500 will not be discontinued in 2019, even though they are releasing a new RAM 1500 model. Both models will be sold side by side.

So why did RAM decide to keep the old model? There are many reasons that the RAM 1500 original was popular, and the experts at Hall Chrysler Dodge Jeep® RAM are excited to tell you more about both models.

The RAM 1500 classic model is likely being kept around because it’s more affordable. Buyers will love having different pricing options in their RAM 1500 trucks. Plus, more entry-level car consumers are likely to keep with the lighter power in a truck and may not be able to commit to the souped-up version quite yet, coming out in 2019. However, three new packages will be available on the RAM 1500 classic, providing consumers with several updates and add-on features.

The new 2019 RAM 1500 was named on Ward’s 2018 10 Best Interiors List because of new features such as the Uconnect® 4C NAV, which has an infotainment screen that’s 12 inches, in addition to the additional legroom space and leather upholstery. The newer model also is more powerful—the engine on some trims gets up to 395 horsepower. This model can also tow more weight (12,750 pounds).

With either 2019 RAM 1500 model, you’ll be getting power, style, convenience features, and new technologies. So, it’s all about how much you can spend and whether you want to take your truck a step further with the all-new model. Either way, your local RAM dealers in Virginia Beach have the RAM 1500 available to test drive, in addition to many other new cars for sale.
