It’s been a long time coming, and now it’s here. “It,” of course, is the 2018 RAM 1500 what’s finally in stock at Hall Chrysler Dodge Jeep® RAM Virginia Beach. As it reaches the end of its current generation, it repeats much of what we saw with last year’s model. One change already started, but it’s making its way to more new RAM trucks — like the RAM 1500 Sport — this model year. The old grille, with its ram-and-crosshairs design, is gradually being phased out for a more contemporary-looking and aggressive grille. It also trades the big sheep for the RAM brand logo.
Further changes come to two RAM truck trim levels.
RAM 1500 Big Horn Black: We hope you like black, because aside from the windows, just about everything else on the Big Horn Black trim is… black, black, and blacker. Black paint, black accents, black wheels… it looks suitable for those times when Batman wants to visit the job site.
RAM 1500 Tungsten: Based on the RAM Limited trim, this truck crams in still more luxury as it takes over the top spot in the RAM 1500 lineup. Among its special features are trim-specific 20-inch wheels, suede headliner, Natura Plus leather seats, special badging, and Tungsten finish chrome accents.
Powertrain and driveline options carry over from last year. Changes are minimal because by this time next year, we’ll be welcoming the 2019 RAM 1500 to Hall Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM Virginia Beach. For casual shoppers, it might be worth waiting.
