The 2017 Chicago Auto Show featured a strong showing by FCA US LLC. Even though it leaned heavily on the 2017 model year, it showed that the company isn't done creating new options and trims for their existing lineup. Each model listed below should be available soon to the Portsmouth, VA drivers served by Hall Chrysler Dodge Jeep ® RAM Virginia Beach.

Chrysler: Aftermarket refit company BraunAbility gave the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica a functional upfit that'll be welcome news to those of us who need wheelchair accessibility. The new Chrysler Pacifica variant received structural modifications that give it more space than any other comparable vehicle. Other innovations, like a sliding door extension and a wide ramp, were also on display.

Dodge: The 25th anniversary -- and the end of an era -- comes for the Dodge Viper in 2017. With multiple SRT, GTC, GTS, and ACR trims, it's being sent out in style. The 80th anniversary of MOPAR is also being celebrated with limited edition performance-tuned MOPAR ’17 Dodge Challenger models. Two versions, one in Pitch Black and Contusion Blue and the other in Pitch Black and Billet Silver, will be built in 80-model runs. We're also excited about the Dodge Durango SRT, which has a zero to sixty time under five seconds thanks to its 475-hp, 6.4-liter V-8 engine.

Jeep ®: We expect a major showing at the upcoming Moab Jeep Safari, but Chicago saw the debut of the 2017 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Recon Edition. It has shorter rock rails, which means you can mount 35-inch tires on its upgraded Dana 44 front axle without modifications.

RAM: RAM trucks on display included the long-awaited RAM 2500 / RAM 3500 Night trim and a limited edition 2017 RAM 1500 Copper Sport edition.

The 2018 model year of FCA US LLC Jeep SUVs, Chrysler minivans, RAM trucks, and Dodge vehicles has yet to come into focus. However, Chicago shows us that there's still plenty to look forward to in 2017. To find out more, visit Hall Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM Virginia Beach at 3152 Virginia Beach Blvd in Virginia Beach, VA -- just down the road from Portsmouth, VA -- today.
